Designation: Unity 3D Developer

Experience: 3 to 5 years

Location: Madurai (Bibikulam)

Job Type: Full-time, Work from Office (Onsite)

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Understand the Game Design Documents for games to be developed, discuss requirements with producers and artists, and plan development with the team and technical leads at Simpencil.
• Take ownership of delivering a game from start to finish, coordinating with the art, design, and QA teams, up until publishing of the game.
• Rapidly prototype game concepts.
• Write code according to standards.
• Stay updated on relevant core technologies and best practices to make suggestions to product teams on new game mechanics or APIs.

Skills Required:

• A minimum of 2 years’ experience in web and mobile game development using Unity3D.
• Experience with iOS and Android game development.
• Experience integrating and troubleshooting third-party SDKs in Unity – MoPub, Google Play Services, Facebook, other Prime31 SDKs, and ad networks.
• Strong fundamentals in mobile game development: understanding of design patterns, game architecture, and device APIs.
• Proficiency in Unity3D.
• Comfortable with XCode & Objective C, as well as Android Studio.
• Experience using non-gaming APIs for tasks such as fetching and storing data for web services, databases, or disk access.
• Proficient in debugging and profiling code, as well as understanding memory management for mobile games.
• Knowledge in AR/VR will be considered an advantage.
