GOHIBE is a technology company based in Bengaluru that is building a 360° platform for Vtubers. Our platform aims to democratize self-expression through an interactive avatar system. We started with a focus on digital fashion and expanded into cosplay and Vtubing, identifying gaps in avatar creation, streaming experiences, and content production. Our mission is to simplify these processes and provide innovative tools for Vtubers, content creators, and storytellers to get discovered. We are committed to fostering a creative and inclusive community where everyone has the power to express their unique identity.


We leverage Unity 3D to enable users to create and animate stunning 3D anime-based avatars and opening new dimensions for content creation.Our first experience is already live on the iOS App Store , and we’re now building desktop versions of our app while adding more innovative product layers like face expression match & cross-platform streaming.

We're introducing groundbreaking features such as a super emote engine (realtime texture manipulation for various expression triggers). About the RoleWork Responsibilities
  • Leveraging unity to bring out the best V tubing experience for users by getting finer layers of movements & tracking in place.
  • Designing & building core platform layers like expression triggers, animation & emote engine (face texture manipulation) along with the team.
  • Driving the mobile & desktop app development & ensuring that the user experience is kept a priority.
  • Learning about product roadmaps & user journeys from the team and utilizing that to build core UX flows along with quality UI layouts.
  • Collaborating with 3D designers and artists to understand project requirements and translate them into technical specifications
  • Working closely with a small-hybrid team of artists, engineers, product managers and user experience designers; in a very fast paced environment.
  • Optimizing code, improving user experiences, frame rates and app stability.
  • Doing code and design reviews.
  • Ideally you are someone who takes full ownership and accountability of things you build (from conception, speccing and design through testing and deployment and post release enhancements)
  • Optimize game performance by identifying and resolving bottlenecks.


“Must Have” Skills
  • 5+ years of application development experience using Unity 3D (for mobile platforms) including scripting, textures, animations, rendering and networking. Experience with 3D rendering in unity is an absolute must.
  • Experience working on unity based user experiences (non-games) like AR/VR experiences
  • Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
  • Working knowledge of various tools and libraries in the Unity ecosystem related to UI, Physics, scene management/configurations, events and networking.
  • Proficiency in C#, OOP concepts and writing maintainable, reusable & performant code. Should be comfortable with writing wrappers/integrations over backend APIs.
  • Understanding of factors which might affect user experiences like blocking network calls, running operations in forever threads etc.
  • Have previously worked with native SDK’s like Firebase.
  • Knowledge of of rigs,blendshapes and Animations inside Unity


“Preferred” Skills

Candidates with following additional experiences will be preferred over others:


  • Experience in writing custom shaders in unity.
  • Experience with desktop app development in unity.
  • Experience with multiplayer frameworks in unity ecosystem is a huge plus.
  • Some backend / full stack past experience is strongly preferred.
  • Some experience in implementing avatar customization is a huge plus.
  • Any experience in 3D modeling is a huge plus.
  • Experience working on simulator/configurator experiences

About The Company

goHibe is a Metaverse Fashion platform for US GenZ with a primary focus on ages 12-22 yrs. While in the long run, we imagine the platform to have a wide array of experiences from virtual open-hangout spaces to building your dream house to playing obstacle courses with friends, etc., our phase one will be primarily focused on creating a 100x Avatar & Fashion Experience where users can come & create their own clothing, hair styles, etc. 

In terms of engineering challenges, the core problem statement is how to design goHibe as a platform instead of designing it as a game, which is able to open up its developer and asset ecosystem to the public in the future while being accepting of any scale demand at any given point of time in this journey. This includes but is not limited to :  real world problems in structuring databases to store a variety of data types, managing multi-user scale, developing real-time responses, high fault tolerance and achieving maximum creative output of 3D models on the client while being limited with Unity's rendering engines.
