Unity Developer

Responsibilities:

• Designed and developed consumer grade applications/games in Unity3D.
• Built reusable, high-quality code, and libraries for future use which can be used across multiple projects.
• Proactively communicated and collaborated with Lead Architects to analyze information needs and functional requirements and help the Lead Architect in development planning, code review, architecture review, test and debug.
• Critically evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, decompose high-level information into details, abstract up from low-level information to a general understanding, and distinguish user requests from the underlying true needs.
• Successfully engage in multiple initiatives simultaneously.
• Drive and challenge product units on their assumptions of how they will successfully execute their plans.
• Agile software delivery process using JIRA (including breaking down work into modular tasks, updating/tracking task status/work log entries for sprint management), Gerrit/Git (source code management including branching strategy, code review) and Automation Tools.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Game Design, Game Development or relevant field.
• 7+ Years of Experience in game/application development.
• 5+ Years of Experience in Unity3D based game development.
• 3+ Years of Experience in delivering high-quality consumer applications/games built using Unity3D, preferably over mobile platforms.
• Advanced C#/C++ knowledge with architecture and design patterns.
• Solid OOPs programming skills and design patterns.
• Strong mathematical skills, knowledge of vectors, matrices, and linear algebra.
• Strong knowledge of designing state machines and multi-level games/applications in Unity3D.
• Experience in maintaining Performance & Optimisation in Unity3D Applications.
• Strong knowledge of Networking APIs in Unity3D.
