About the team The Academic Strategy and Cooperation Team is a team related to scientific research cooperation at ByteDance. Based on undertaking the relevant needs of academic cooperation for various technical lines, it focuses on information in the field of cutting-edge technology and outputs insightful analysis. In this team, you will have the opportunity to participate in scientific research cooperation projects of various technical lines, attend top global academic conferences, have in-depth exchanges and cooperation opportunities with experts and scholars in the field of scientific research, expand your scientific research vision, and grow together with ByteDance. Responsibilities 1. Oversee and manage the entire lifecycle of academic cooperation initiatives to ensure alignment with business needs. Approach problem-solving from a business perspective and utilize academic collaboration to address challenges effectively; 2. Cultivate and maintain relationships with university researchers and scholars. Manage both short-term project collaborations and long-term initiatives such as joint laboratories. Establish and maintain mutual trust with academic professionals; 3. In-depth understanding of the latest scientific and technological developments; able to output relevant technical insights to provide effective input and suggestions for business stakeholders.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications 1. 3-5 years of relevant experience in a related field; 2. Exceptional communication, negotiation, and collaboration skills. Ability to articulate ideas clearly and effectively to diverse internal and external stakeholders; 3. Strong curiosity and self-driven personality. Preferred Qualifications 1. Prior experience in project cooperation, academic conferences, joint laboratories, scholarships, or disciplinary competitions is highly desirable; 2. Familiar with computer-related technical fields and enthusiastic about work.
