Job Description

Tesla is seeking a skilled Body Repair Technician (Panel Beater) in Oakleigh, Australia to join its innovative Body Repair Program. Responsibilities include performing structural and cosmetic repairs on Tesla vehicles (Models S, X, and 3) adhering to Tesla's repair procedures. This involves utilizing advanced tools and eco-friendly processes. The role requires expertise in MIG welding, aluminum repair, and working with frame jigs. Experience with heavy damage repair on prestige vehicles is a plus. The ideal candidate is a team player with a strong work ethic, excellent attention to detail, and proficiency in collision repair techniques. Continuous training is provided.

Must have:

3+ years' automotive collision repair experience
Proficient in MIG welding and aluminum repair
Experience with structural repairs on prestige vehicles
I-CAR Australia Welding certification (a plus)
Excellent teamwork and attention to detail

Good to have:

Certificate in Collision/Body Repair
Knowledge of Tesla-specific repair procedures

What You’ll Do

Perform Structural and cosmetic repairs on Tesla Model S, Model X, and Model 3 vehicles in accordance with Tesla-specific Repair procedures
Use Celette Frame Jigs for setting New Structural Components
Glue, Rivet, and Weld structural components being replaced
Repair exterior cosmetic panels via Metal Finishing and body filler
Replace all parts associated with collision repair including body panels, suspension parts, vehicle structure, Radiators, Airbags and Trim
Proficient in MIG Welding
Follow Standards and work in Teams
