Tesla's Body Repair Vehicle Detailer in Auckland plays a crucial role in restoring Tesla vehicles to pristine condition. Responsibilities include inspecting, repairing, and servicing Tesla electric vehicles, utilizing advanced tools and eco-friendly processes. The role demands 3+ years of automotive collision repair experience, proficiency in detailing techniques (wet sanding, polishing, buffing, waxing), and knowledge of basic automotive repair and servicing. You'll work alongside expert technicians, receive ongoing training, and maintain meticulous records. This position involves operating various hand and power tools, ordering supplies, supporting journeymen, and ensuring vehicle cleanliness. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, a team player, and eager to learn advanced automotive technologies.
Must have:
  • 3+ years automotive collision repair experience

What You’ll Do
  • 3+ years of experience in automotive collision repair 
  • Performs entry-level work in the inspection, repair, and service of Tesla electric vehicles 
  • Operate a variety of hand, power, and shop tools 
  • Perform equipment inspections and adjustments 
  • Maintain records of time and materials 
  • May order shop supplies and parts as required 
  • Perform other related duties as assigned 
  • Help maintain vehicle cleanliness of customer cars 
  • Support journeymen technicians as needed 
  • Knowledge of: Methods, techniques for detailing vehicles - wet sand, polish, buff , wax, etc. 
  • Efficient skills in basic automotive techniques related to repair and servicing of automobiles
