Community Data Analyst

Levellr provides software and community expertise to some of the world’s largest gaming companies (Scopely, Krafton, Hutch), brands (Google, NFL) and music labels (Universal, Warner) to help them grow, manage and monetise communities on Discord.

We’re hiring our first-ever Community Data and Analytics Specialist, a unique and groundbreaking opportunity to shape this role and become the go-to expert for leveraging community data to create real WOW moments for our clients. You’ll be at the forefront of transforming how we help software-only clients understand, optimise, and maximise the value of their Discord communities.

This is your chance to join a fast-growing startup, take ownership of a critical new function, and play a key role in shaping our product, team, and culture as we continue to expand globally. This role is perfect for someone with a deep passion for data, community engagement, and delivering measurable results for clients. Join us and shape the future of community data analytics at Levellr!

What You’ll Do

● Pioneer the role: Define and own the community data and analytics function, establishing best practices for leveraging Discord data.

● Leverage advanced analytics: Build and manage SQL queries, work with complex database structures, and extract insights from large, dynamic datasets.

● Mine for gold: Extract and analyse community data to uncover actionable insights that help both our clients and internal community managers thrive.

● Deliver WOW moments: Transform raw data into meaningful, personalised insights that drive engagement and demonstrate the value of Levellr’s tools.

● Present with confidence: Share your findings with clients, telling compelling stories through data and offering clear recommendations for improvement.

● Apply context: Research clients and their industries to tailor insights that align with their specific goals and challenges.

● Collaborate across teams: Work closely with customer success, product, business development, and marketing teams to ensure your insights translate into tangible results for existing clients and are leveraged to attract new business.

● Feed into the Product Roadmap: You’ll be on the front lines of solving our customers' biggest challenges with community data. When clients start relying on your insights to drive business decisions, that’s a signal we should turn them into scalable product features. Think of your work as a testing ground—prototyping new ways to unlock value from Discord data.

● Champion community success: Help clients structure and optimise their Discord servers to extract maximum value from their communities and Levellr’s tools.

● Stay ahead of trends: Keep up to date with Discord and community data trends, ensuring your recommendations remain cutting-edge and impactful.

What We’re Looking For

● Expertise in data analytics: You have strong analytical skills, advanced SQL proficiency, and experience working with complex database structures.

● Community data experience: Ideally, you’ve worked with Discord data or similar community management platforms, understanding engagement metrics and trends.

● Client-centric mindset: You’re passionate about delivering insights that solve client problems and drive measurable results.

● Research-driven approach: You know how to dig deep to understand a client’s business and apply that context to your work.

● Excellent communication skills: You’re confident presenting to clients and internal teams, making complex insights easy to understand.

● Proactive and independent: You thrive in a remote-first, flexible environment where you can take ownership and work autonomously. Bonus Points For

● Experience with community management platforms and/or social media data.

● Familiarity with SaaS and working in data-heavy roles.

● Knowledge of the gaming or entertainment industry.

● Experience turning client feedback into actionable product improvement suggestions.

Who we are

Levellr is run by two co-founders, Tom (CEO) and Ben (CTO), who have been building communities for the last 15 years at companies big (YouTube, Interpublic Group) and small (MyCujoo). We launched the company in 2021 with a mission to help our customers with the shift to community platforms like Discord and Reddit. We’ve largely bootstrapped so far, recently raising some investment from experienced gaming and media investors like Mitch Lasky, Owen Mahoney, Crush Ventures and Dylan Collins as well as senior executives from Krafton, Riot Games, Amazon, EA and SuperAwesome.

● We work remotely. You’ll see us in calls from London coworking spaces, suburban home offices, and the occasional Airbnb.

● We get stuff done. We have a bias for action and love creating value from nothing but our code and our conversations.

● We thrive in uncertainty. We listen to market feedback and iterate continuously to build products our customers love.

● We value autonomy, independence, transparency, and trust. We always do the right thing for the team and the business, even if it costs us & we give each other radically honest feedback and challenge assumptions.
