Job Description
Smilegate Entertainment is seeking a talented Character Artist for its flagship title, Crossfire. The role involves creating concept art for various aspects of the game, including characters and weapons, within a modern, sci-fi, or military setting. The ideal candidate will possess strong conceptualization skills, translating imagination into compelling visuals. Responsibilities encompass the entire concept art pipeline for Crossfire, requiring strong adaptability to new tasks and a team-oriented approach. Proficiency in translating diverse feelings and images into tangible artwork is essential. Excellent communication and conflict resolution skills are also needed.
Must have:
- Proficient in concept art creation
- Strong understanding of modern/SF/military aesthetics
- Excellent visualization and execution skills
- Team-oriented and collaborative
- Adaptable to new tasks and challenges
Good to have:
- Experience in FPS game development
- Deep understanding of near-future, military, and sci-fi design
