Job Description

This Customer Service Executive role is an 8-month contract position focused on managing transport plans, bookings with land carriers, and coordination with ocean carriers, ports, and depots. Responsibilities include ensuring operational excellence, updating systems, informing clients of changes, collecting freight charges, and vendor management. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, be fluent in English, result-oriented, possess good time management, and be proficient in basic computer applications.

Must Have:
  • Receive Transport plan from Customer/Factories
  • Place bookings with land carriers
  • Coordinate with ocean carriers, ports, depots
  • Manage operational excellence, maintain high service level
  • Follow up/ensure data team’s systems update meet customer’s requirements/related KPIs
  • Keep client informed of changes which may affect the agreed cargo planning
  • Ensure all applicable freight and charges are collected fully and correctly
  • Ensure vendor management within your area is carried out and properly followed-up
  • Contact with warehouse, carriers, trucking coordinator, etc. to ensure smooth handling of your Accounts
  • Prepare operational reports assigned by Account Manager/Senior executives
  • Update and adhere all new procedures instructed by client of your assigned Accounts
  • Carry out ad-hoc tasks assigned by Management
  • Strong communication skills, fluent in English (spoken and written)
  • Result-oriented with initiative and a strong drive to succeed
  • Good time management skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with team members
  • Basic computer proficiency (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • The candidate agreed to sign an 8-month contract
