Job Summary
Our People Function works across brands, countries, and cultures for a global Maersk. As a People Advisor in the Frontline People Team, you will support our warehouse in Philippsburg and play a crucial role in our success: ensuring that employees receive fast and competent support for their HR topics so they can fully concentrate on their work. You are the reliable contact person and ensure that every interaction with HR becomes a positive experience. We are looking for an HR Advisor (m/f/d) for our local team in Philippsburg to professionally support our warehouse team.
Must Have
- Responsible for inquiries regarding HR policies and processes: understanding needs, evaluating options, developing solutions, and collaborating with HR colleagues as needed.
- Close collaboration with warehouse managers, especially regarding absences and disciplinary matters.
- Support managers in creating and implementing an engagement plan for the site.
- Active work in Workday (our HR system) and maintenance of case trackers, including timely follow-up.
- Support with questions about benefits, policies, and processes – including research, solution finding, and coordination with the HR team.
- Training and guiding employees and managers in HR systems and the HR service model.
- Support throughout the entire HR annual cycle: recruiting, onboarding, performance management, job changes, offboarding, etc.
- Implementation of a comprehensive communication plan to ensure all employees receive important site and company information (e.g., via notices, screens, shift starts).
- Ensuring accuracy, compliance, and up-to-dateness in HR-relevant documents (e.g., personnel files, HR policies, compliance documents, compensation and benefits documents).
- Knowledge of German labor law.
- Experience in handling employee relations issues.
- Very good communication and teamwork skills.
- Fluent German and good English language skills.
Good to Have
- Experience with Workday or another HR system.

Your Tasks
