This Director-level role will hold a key position within the GBS Strategy and Transformation team.  This role will be responsible for the design of functions and processes to establish functions within our Global Capability Centers. The role is responsible for working with business stakeholders within assigned functions to design and deliver the operating model and organization, including the planning and delivery of applicable transitions. The role will involve working globally with GBS leadership, WBD functional stakeholders and other internal and external (e.g., outsource partners) groups.

Your Role Accountabilities…

  • Develop target operating model for assigned functions/process areas.  Including facilitation of design workshops, issue management, Interaction models and RACI
  • Partner with functional stakeholders and P&C to manage the design of future state organization for assigned functions/process areas
  • Plan and execute transitions across assigned functions and global locations according to the transition methodology and playbook.
  • Create transition plans and documents to outline project expectations, scope, schedule, and budget requirements.
  • Ensure all transition tollgates have been met, issues are resolved, and operations are stabilized before transition shutdown. Support development of best practices, tools, and technologies for assigned functions/process areas

Qualifications & Experience…

Experience

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in a large multinational corporation with experience in a back office support function, consulting/strategy or BPO/shared services organization
  • Minimum 5 years of experience with large scale, high visibility business process or organizational transformation
  • Experience managing projects/teams across multiple global locations
  • Experience developing and facilitating workshops
  • Experience driving change management, process improvement and operating model design
  • Successful track record of leading projects and development/delivery of complex solutions
  • International experience required

Education, Professional Training, Technical Training or Certification

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field (e.g., Accounting, Business Management, Economics, Technology, Human Resources) required
  • MBA preferred

Knowledge/Skills

  • Strong management, decision-making and people skills
  • Strategic and pragmatic with the ability to carry an idea through execution
  • Strong planning, organization, and analytical skills
  • Attention to detail and accuracy as well as strong organizational skills
  • Results oriented mindset with a drive to achieve objectives
  • Strong ability to interact professionally (written and verbal) with GBS Customers and all levels of WBD management and staff and outside vendors
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced matrixed environment
  • Ability to assess and measure impact and to prioritize accordingly
  • Proven ability to build confidence and trust with internal and external stakeholders and influence decision making
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to proactively manage a variety of
    projects and timelines; demonstrate initiative, resourcefulness, and an ability to manage
    multiple assignments and deliverables
  • Demonstrated ability to contribute to a culture of excellence, integrity, and accountability
  • Strong collaborator and team player
  • Entertainment industry experience a plus
  • Willingness and ability to travel internationally
