About the Role: We are seeking a skilled and experienced Freelance/Contract Electrician to join our team for a commercial project based in the Wolverhampton region. The contract is expected to last for 6 months and offers a competitive rate of pay at £23 per hour. As an Electrician, you will be responsible for both first fix and second fix installations, encompassing all aspects of the trade. The project requires candidates who hold an ECS Gold Card and are capable of working independently while adhering to high-quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform commercial electrical installations, including first fix and second fix tasks.
  • Conduct wiring, cable pulling, and electrical connections according to project specifications.
  • Install lighting, power outlets, switches, and other electrical components.
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical faults, ensuring timely resolution.
  • Collaborate with project team members to ensure smooth project progression.
  • Adhere to safety regulations and best practices at all times.
  • Maintain accurate records of work completed and materials used.
  • Provide exceptional craftsmanship while delivering work within project timelines.
Requirements:
  • Valid ECS Gold Card is essential.
  • Proven experience as a Freelance/Contract Electrician in commercial settings.
  • Proficient in first fix and second fix electrical installations.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to solve electrical problems.
  • Good understanding of electrical regulations and safety practices.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work.
  • Ability to work independently and manage tasks effectively.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing project requirements.
  • Own tools and personal protective equipment (PPE).
