Provide artistic leadership and lead teams to drive the overall vision of the project across Relax.
Building a stronger understanding of artistic fundamentals within the art team.
Build a learning environment within the art teams and implement processes of artistic research across Relax. Such as internal and external feedback sessions, workshops, courses, and masterclasses.
Identify areas of improvement with artists and work on addressing issues and developing stronger artistic skills.
Identify strengths within the art team and apply them to specific projects.
Build a strong relationship/comradery between the studio’s art departments. To be able to solve more production issues and challenges, operate larger groups of skillful and talented artists.
Keep the Creative part of GDD development up to standards of visual production. Such as clear visual language of the presentationsidentified art style and techniques of art production.
Follow the work of all teams and ensure they reach the expected artistic quality
Participate in controlling the unity of all visual parts: 3D models, characters, atmosphere, animations, environments.
Review materials such as GDD, work-in-progress PSDs, Artboards, dev builds, assets across both Malmö and Belgrade and ensure the highest quality is achieved. With providing precise and clear direction in achieving artistic goals and PO’s expectations.
Work with POs and clients on the identification of vision for Relax games.
Work on developing higher recognition of Relax games by building signature visual identities.
Reviews new hires and provides performance feedback on all Artists within Malmö and Belgrade.
Establish/Contribute and Maintain the art production pipeline and develop milestones for the art team.
