Safety & Security Department @ Autodesk

Our Safety & Security Department is responsible for assessing, planning, developing, and implementing comprehensive programs to protect Autodesk’s worldwide facilities, personnel, and intellectual property. We also ensure compliance with governmental laws and regulations related to environmental, health, safety, and security.
Position Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced GSOC Analyst to join our Global Security Operations Center (GSOC). The ideal candidate will have a background in corporate security, law enforcement, or emergency management, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced operational environment. This role involves monitoring various security platforms, including CCTV, alarms, access management, global threat monitoring, emergency notification, dispatch, and visitor access management systems.
This role will be onsite in the Denver, Wewatta office 4 days a week. This role will report to the Global Security Operations Center Manager
Responsibilities
Monitor global safety and security concerns affecting our offices or employees using a global threat management platform
Coordinate with internal and external security, emergency services, and law enforcement personnel when required
Provide timely and accurate reporting and updates on ongoing incidents
Communicate globally with employees using the emergency notification system
Utilize CCTV, visitor, and access management systems effectively
Follow escalation procedures to both internal and external security and safety teams, as well as support partners within the company
Employ critical thinking and multi-tasking techniques to ensure a comprehensive security posture
Provide daily activity reports to the shift lead and/or GSOC Assistant Manager
Assist with badge and access management for employees across the company portfolio
Address employees’ safety and security concerns
Be prepared to work on special assignments or other post adjustments for the GSOC’s success
Occasionally provide additional services for special events outside of the normal schedule
Perform other assignments, duties, or tasks as assigned by the Autodesk Global Safety and Security Team
Minimum Qualifications
Minimum of two years’ experience in corporate global security operations centers, 911 dispatch, or similar roles
Experience tracking and documenting incidents or events in a security or dispatch setting
Understanding and experience with security industry standards, technologies, and systems (access control, video surveillance, etc.)
Strong computer literacy skills, proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
Ability to prioritize tasks and assignments
Flexibility and adaptability in quickly evolving situations
Ability to work well in a fast-paced team environment
Strong can-do attitude with a focused customer service mindset
Possess or obtain within 60 days, CPR/AED/First Aid certification
Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays is required
