The IAM Governance and Administration Associate will ensure the security and integrity of Identity and Access Management (IAM) systems. This involves handling audit queries, conducting attestations, and testing IAM controls to maintain compliance and improve security measures. Responsibilities include responding to audit queries, preparing documentation, conducting access reviews, coordinating user access validation, developing and implementing test plans for IAM controls, and assisting in the development and maintenance of IAM policies and procedures.
Must have:
  • 2+ years of experience in IAM governance, audit management.
  • Solid understanding of IAM principles and standard processes.
  • Experience with IAM tools and technologies.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
Good to have:
  • Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or similar.
  • Experience with regulatory compliance frameworks (e.g., SOX, GDPR).
  • Familiarity with IAM platforms like SailPoint, Okta, or similar.

About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated IAM Governance and Administration Associate to join our team. This role is essential in ensuring the integrity and security of our Identity and Access Management (IAM) systems. The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling audit queries, conducting attestations, and testing IAM controls to maintain compliance and improve security measures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Audit Management:
    • Respond to audit queries related to IAM processes and controls.
    • Prepare documentation and evidence for internal and external audits.
    • Collaborate with audit teams to address findings and implement corrective actions.
  • Attestations:
    • Conduct regular access reviews and attestations to ensure compliance with policies.
    • Coordinate with business units to validate user access and roles.
    • Maintain records of attestation activities and report on compliance status.
  • IAM Controls Testing:
    • Develop and implement test plans for IAM controls.
    • Identify and remediate gaps in IAM controls.
    • Supervise and report on the efficiency of IAM controls.
  • Policy and Procedure Development:
    • Assist in the development and maintenance of IAM policies and procedures.
    • Ensure policies are up-to-date and align with regulatory requirements.
  • Continuous Improvement:
    • Find opportunities for process improvements in IAM governance.
    • Implement standard processes to improve IAM security and efficiency.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in IAM governance, audit management, or related roles.
  • Solid understanding of IAM principles and standard processes.
  • Experience with IAM tools and technologies.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or similar.
  • Experience with regulatory compliance frameworks (e.g., SOX, GDPR).
  • Familiarity with IAM platforms like SailPoint, Okta, or similar.
