Principal Physical Design Engineer with 7-12 years of experience in Physical Design Implementation activities in latest technology nodes. Expertise in Synthesis, Floor-planning, Place and Route, CTS, Physical Verification, IR and Timing Closure. Hands-on experience in PnR/STA/PD/PV/PDN closure. Strong understanding of Timing constraints, Clocking and DFT architecture. Proficiency in TCL scripting.

You will be a part of the Automotive and Industrial Solutions Group which is a global leader in the design, manufacturing and marketing of Microcontrollers (MCUs) and Embedded Processors in the Automotive, Consumer and Industrial markets

Job Description

Master/Bachelor's Degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering
7-12 years of working experience in Physical Design Implementation activities in latect technology nodes
Responsibilities include Synthesis, Floor-planning, Place and Route, CTS, Physical Verification (DRC/LVS), IR and Timing Closure.
Candidate should have hands-on experience in PnR/STA/PD/PV/PDN closure for live projects, practical experience of the associated EDA tools
Should have very good expertise in Timing constraints, Clocking and DFT architecture
Understanding of key scripting languages particularly TCL.
Experience of working as part of a larger and multisite teams and working towards project milestones and deadlines.
Good team player and working with the wider design teams to support their efforts.
The candidate should demonstrate an ability to fulfil the principal duties of the role and possesses the required competencies, should have good communication skills and should be self-motivated
