NXP is seeking a Mixed-Signal Digital Design Engineer. Responsibilities include defining verification strategy, executing digital and analog/RF verification, and authoring documentation. Must have strong knowledge of Verilog, VHDL, System Verilog, System C, and Unix/Linux systems. Experience with power management, microcontrollers, and bus systems is a plus.
Responsibilities:
- The Analog RF & Mixed signals Verification Engineer / Architect is responsible for defining Design Verification strategy and implement it.
- Responsible for executing Digital + Analog/RF verification to guarantee no “functional” fault exist, according to Specifications (Test cases) defined by product architects.
- Author of the Verification-specific documentation for internal and external use.
- Can be responsible for Analog models (like Wreal or SystemC) specifically developed for Analog-Digital functional verification.
Requirements:
- Master degree in micro-electronics, electronic engineering or relevant disciplines.
- Good knowledge in Verilog, VHDL, System Verilog, System C or E, and script language.
- Familiar with Unix/Linux system and EDA tool from Cadence, Synopsis, Mentor for digital and analog development.
- Experience with one or more of the following is a plus: power management, 8bit, 16bit or 32bit Micro-controller, ARM or AHB bus system, script languages.
- Basic knowledge of analog and mix-signal design and simulation is a plus.
- Good communication skills and teamwork for global projects support;
