Your new role

As Project Director at Ramboll, you will lead interdisciplinary teams across bridges, structures, and railways. You will be responsible for the planning, design management, and execution of large and complex infrastructure projects. You will act as the overall project manager and ensure strong technical control, solid stakeholder management, and effective collaboration across disciplines and geographies.

You will be a central driving force in the delivery of complex bridge structures, major civil engineering and construction projects, and railway projects – from the early planning and tender phases to detailed design and execution phases.

Ramboll has contributed to some of the country's most complex transport and construction projects, including major motorway expansions, large structures, tunnels, and railway-related facilities.

You will work closely with leading specialists in structures, geotechnics, railways, civil engineering, and sustainability – and help deliver projects that set new standards for technical quality, constructability, and durability.

  • Motivate, develop, and lead high-performing project teams in a culture characterized by collaboration and professional development.
  • Build and maintain close relationships with clients, contractors, authorities, and other stakeholders.
  • Be responsible for major tenders and project proposals, including strategy, budgeting, and resource planning.
  • Challenge existing workflows and contribute to continuous improvements in delivery, constructability, and sustainability.

From your first day at Ramboll, we will support your professional and leadership development. To succeed in the role, we expect you to have:

  • A relevant higher education, e.g., civil engineer or structural engineer.
  • Solid experience with the delivery of large bridges, structures, and/or railway projects, preferably at program or portfolio level.
  • In-depth understanding of structural design, execution methods, and the interaction between design and execution.
  • Strong knowledge of legislation, standards, and collaboration methods within infrastructure and railway.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, as well as fluent Danish and English.
  • A strategic approach, commercial understanding, and courage to make complex decisions.
