The Horizon Team at Meta is building a social User Generated Content (UGC) platform where the world’s creators will be able to create their place, and enable their communities to connect, engage and play in all kinds of ways. OURO Interactive is Oculus Studios’ newest 1st Party game studio, and Meta’s first in-house game studio dedicated exclusively to creating lighthouse games for Horizon Worlds. As a QA Tester for OURO Interactive, you’ll be at the forefront of shipping VR-best experiences for the ever-expanding Horizon metaverse.
QA Tester Responsibilities
Provide development testing support for the OURO design, engineering & art teams throughout development.
Engage deeply with the games in development and provide product feedback to developers.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet the company's quality and regulatory goals.
Keep track of community trends and feedback about the product and share recommendations with developers.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure OURO’s games pass Quest Store and Meta Horizon VRC submission standards.
Be(come) an expert of our games. Know deeply how our game should play and be a champion for a fun user experience.
Minimum Qualifications
2+ years of experience working in video game QA.
Experience providing quality support throughout the entire product lifecycle, including design, development, and release.
Experience working with Jira or similar tracking software.
Proficient in executing test plans.
Proven communication skills.
Experience partnering and/or collaborating across multiple disciplines.
Knowledge of current gaming trends, genres, and titles.
Experience providing both qualitative and quantitative feedback on in-development studio projects.
Preferred Qualifications
Previous experience working with communities.
Experience coding in Typescript.
Bachelor’s degree at an accredited college or university.
Proficient in developing and designing test plans.
Familiarity with Meta Quest hardware and software, especially Meta Horizon Worlds.

$20.67/hour to $70,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits
