Job Description

Tesla seeks a Regional Finance Lead in Bangkok to manage daily accounting operations, statutory accounting for Thailand, and month-end closing processes. Responsibilities encompass revenue and cost analysis, inventory and fixed asset management, business process improvement, financial reporting, and ensuring secure financial transactions. The ideal candidate possesses a university degree with professional accounting qualifications, at least 5 years of relevant experience (audit experience preferred), strong analytical skills, and proficiency in English and Thai. This role demands accuracy, organization, efficiency, adaptability, and a collaborative team-oriented approach within a fast-paced environment.

What to Expect

Tesla is looking for a Regional Finance Lead in our Finance department to join a busy, rapidly expanding team, focusing on the support of the region's functions. The company has aggressive growth plans and this is an excellent opportunity to play a key role in helping the company increase its high caliber team in the Market. What You’ll Do

Monitor daily accounting operations, responsible for full set of accounts and statutory accounting for the Thailand
Responsible for month-end closing including prepare periodic reconciliation report for revenue, cost analysis, inventory and fixed asset
Plan and Implement business process and policy with company strategies. Re-engineer/ improve the existing financial reporting mechanism to increase efficiency as well as effectiveness.
Assisting in preparing monthly financial reports, developing and/or utilizing spreadsheets, databases and other computer applications.
Secure financial transactions with validating supporting under company policy and internal control
Maintain financial records in both digitalization and physical documentation in an organized manner
Process specialized information, reports and forms, such as for fees, billing, project tracking, etc. and enter information into a financial accounting system.
Other financial and/or accounting related tasks are to be performed as assigned.

What You’ll Bring

University degree holder with professional accountancy qualification
At least 5 years of related work experience, audit experience will be of advantage
Accuracy and an eye for detail is essential for this position
Highly organized and good time management
Able to work independently with efficiency and able to meet tight deadline
You will need to have a flexible approach to work and a 'can do' attitude.
Able to operate effectively in and comfortable working in a very fast moving, developing and constantly changing company
Intelligent, tenacious, creative and able to be assertive whilst maintaining a positive and team focused approach.
Excellent Speaking and written ability (English and Thai) is required.
CPD license is required.
