Tencent is seeking a Senior HR Business Partner to support IEGG business lines in HQ, providing localized HR support and aligning with global strategies. Must Have
- Act as HRBP to IEGG business lines in HQ, providing localized support.

- Possess exposure across the gaming industry, ideally with experience supporting overseas businesses.
- Experience dealing with Performance Management, Rewards, Talent retention, Talent Management, and Employee Relations.
- Positive, can-do attitude, able to navigate highly matrixed and ambiguous environments.
- Strong people skillsets, culturally sensitive, and adaptable to different people styles.
- Strong learning agility.

What the Role Entails
Responsibilities
- Act as HRBP to the IEGG business lines in HQ, providing localized support and ensuring alignment with global HR strategies.
- Being a trusted advisor to provide insights on business decisions from a human capital perspective which includes but not limited to talent management, performance management, workforce strategy, employee engagement & retention.
- Collaborate closely with the business leaders on people matters which may have short-, medium- or long-term effects on the business
- Build strong partnerships with HR teams with both local and global investment companies and develop deep understanding of organizational dynamics in each entity
- Identify opportunities for resource sharing and ensuring compliance in workforce decisions
- Driving and helping to connect the dots between global/local decisions in contrast with HQ decisions, to mediate and align expectations across all parties
- Lead and manage cross-functional HR projects and collaborate with other BPs to promote strategic alignment and project execution.

- Ability to operate in ambiguous and grey-zone scopes — defining and creating value where frameworks don’t yet exist.

Qualifications
- Above 10 years of experience as a HR Business Partner, demonstrating strong stakeholder management skills and business acumen
- Possess exposure across the gaming industry, ideally with experience supporting overseas businesses in their expansion
- Possess experience dealing with Performance Management, Rewards, Talent retention, Talent Management and Employee Relations
- Someone who is positive, possess a can-do attitude and can navigate in highly matrixed and ambiguous environments
- Strong people skillsets and able to build relationships across all levels of staff, be culturally sensitive and adaptable to different people styles
- Strong learning agility, with good ability to bounce back and quickly learn from past experiences, improve, and adapt
- Bilingual abilities (English/Chinese) will be considered a competitive edge as it will be required to deal with employees locally
