Senior Unity Developer

Our client is looking for an experienced Senior Unity Developer with expertise in both front-end and back-end development. The ideal candidate will have significant experience with Unity 2017 and familiarity with newer versions of Unity.

The ideal candidate has experience working on a non-VR product inside of Unity.

Experience in training software, data/analytics software, gaming, or software in the medical industry is highly desired.

Experience in XR is a nice to have, but not a hard requirement.

Experience with SQL is an absolute must!

This is a permanent staff opportunity that is hybrid remote / on-site in Northborough, MA.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and optimize features using Unity (Unity 2017 and newer versions).
• Design and develop both front-end and back-end components of software applications.
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code in C#.
• Integrate third-party plugins and services as needed.
• Mentor junior developers and provide technical guidance to the development team.
• Participate in code reviews, project planning, and agile development processes.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Proven experience as a Unity Developer with a strong portfolio of shipped projects.
• Proficiency in C# and Unity (experience with Unity 2017 is required; familiarity with newer versions is a plus).
• Solid understanding of both front-end (UI/UX) and back-end development.
• Experience with networking, multiplayer systems, and back-end services.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to debug complex issues.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Familiarity with version control systems such as Git.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies is a plus
