The Creative Developer will be responsible for the developing dynamic ad banners based on clients' advertising briefs and instructions. You are also expected to play an active, hands on role in key projects, turning innovative thinking into inspired creative.
Responsibilities:
1. Development and improvement of dynamic advertising banners, based on internal designs, client requirements and existing templates for our Display ads (based on HTML5/CSS3/ JavaScript)
2. Maintaining and developing a quality assurance page for testing and troubleshooting of Adobe advertising material on a technical level are also part of your area of responsibility.
3. Ensure dynamic templates are optimized and fully functional across all platforms under IAB standards.
4. A keen eye for good design and animation timing is used to follow corporate branding, layout, color theory, and typography in digital media. This provides a fit and finish to technology solutions in line with an overall design direction.
5. Build reusable code for display banners using frameworks like Parcel, React and GSAP.
6. With your technical expertise, you identify potential for optimisation and improvement of our technologies, and you contribute to enhancing our workflows with your ideas (i.e. Identify patterns and create templates to reduce manual efforts).
7. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including creative designer, content creator, and project managers, to provide detailed descriptions to assist in resolving bugs or other issues with campaign setup.
8. Create and maintain ad template code libraries like GitHub.
Required Skills and Experience
1. You already gained top-line knowledge in online digital marketing and campaign management industry and know how Display & Video ads work
2. You have strong knowledge and development experience in Javascript (especially ES6) / HTML5 / CSS3 / JSON / Canvas
3. Experience in web debugging tools (Firebug, Charles, Fiddler, etc) and troubleshooting
4. Ideally, you are already familiar with working with ad tech systems such as ad servers (Google Ad Manager), SSP (Supply Side Platform), header bidding, etc.
5. Knowledge of graphic packages including Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Express will be an added advantage.
6. Fundamental understanding of code versioning tools, such as Github, Dropbox and similar tools.
7. Already experiences with building applications in React or similar framework (Angular, Vue)
8. You are familiar with Agile development methodologies.
9. Basic understanding of web analytics concerning ad delivery and measurement.
10. Always willing to speak up, collaborate, and advocate for your ideas.
11. You’re a conceptual thinker, someone able to create a range of ideas and strategies for campaigns along with having total confidence in your execution and communication with clients.
12. Stay up to date with emerging digital marketing trends and technologies.
13. Proficient in the MAC environment is a plus/advantage.
14. Minimum 3+ years of programming experience in digital advertising.
