Job Description

Thales is seeking a Standard Exchange Coordinator to manage daily activities of the Standard Exchange Stock, ensuring customer turnaround time (TAT) requirements are met. This role focuses on driving serviceable equipment fulfillment through effective management and utilization of the Exchange Stock, maintaining availability, and collaborating with various teams like Supply Chain, Repair Operations, Scheduling, and Sales & Marketing. The coordinator will also analyze stock utilization and participate in performance analysis.
Must Have:
  • Oversee and participate in the management and utilization of exchange stock.
  • Support targeted performance of TAT using available exchange stock.
  • Maintain exchange stock properly in SAP and correct discrepancies.
  • Analyze exchange stock utilization and drive increased turn rate.
  • Increase acceptance rate of exchange stock offers by managing configurations, amendment levels, and age.
  • Work with the Trading organization to identify and sell unused or old stock.
  • Participate in exchange stock and repair performance analysis to determine appropriate stock investments.
  • Execute Exchange transactions in Part Edge and Repair Order in SAP.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or Electronics with 1-4 years of relevant experience, or Master’s with 0-2 years.
  • 1-2 years of experience working with SAP.

Position Summary

Thales is looking for a Standard Exchange Coordinator to be responsible for all the daily activities of the Standard Exchange Stock to support meeting customer turnaround time (TAT) requirements. The position will focus on driving serviceable equipment fulfillment to our customer through the management and utilization of our Exchange Stock.

In this position, you will also maintain the availability and appropriate levels of standard exchange stock, by working with the Supply Chain, Repair Operations, Scheduling and Sales & Marketing teams.

Key Areas of Responsibility

  • Oversee and participate in the management and utilization of exchange stock; Support targeted performance of TAT using available exchange stock when TAT will not be achieved by the repair center (in-house or subcontracted).
  • Maintain exchange stock properly in SAP. Analyze and correct stock discrepancies including exchange stock in blocked status that is not in current repair process; Analyze exchange stock utilization. Drive increased turn rate of stock through exchange cycle (offer, exchange, repair and return to stock.).
  • Increase acceptance rate of exchange stock offers by managing the configurations, amendment levels and age of the stock.
  • Work with the Trading organization in collaboration with SCM and AMT to identify and sell unused or old stock by performing routine evaluations of the stock.
  • Participate in the exchange stock and repair performance analysis to determine appropriate stock investments.
  • Execute Exchange transactions in Part Edge and the Repair Order in SAP.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or Electronics with a minimum of 1-4 years of relevant experience, or Master’s Degree in Business Administration or Electronics with 0-2 years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 1-2 years of experience working with SAP to manage parts and products in a similar environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to multi-task and work effectively under pressure.
  • Demonstrated ability to perform Root Cause Analysis and successfully implement Corrective Action plans.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills; Excellent organizational and time management skills are required; Must be able to work independently and cooperate across functional teams; Strong working knowledge of Excel, Word and PowerPoint software.
