Job Summary
This role involves fulfilling the 'Pilot Monitoring' function during Flight Simulator training, adhering to FAA and/or EASA regulations. The Supporting Crew Member will attend all training event elements, including pre-flight and post-flight briefings, to support the client's learning experience. Responsibilities also include maintaining professional conduct with clients and instructors and completing necessary forms and checklists for the pilot monitoring role.
Must Have
- Commercial or Airline Transport Certificate
- Airplane Multi-Engine land
- Instrument rating with 50 hours of instrument experience
- 400 hours of total flight time (can be reduced to 250 hours with an aviation university degree or CAE Academy graduation)
- Eligible to meet all TSA requirements
- Ability to work flexible hours including mornings, evenings, holidays, and weekends
- Basic computer skills (Microsoft Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Internet Explorer)
- Must live within 2 hours of the training facility

- Experience with advanced avionics
- 100 hours of turbine flight time

About This Role
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Fulfill the “Pilot Monitoring” role during Flight Simulator training under FAA and/or EASA regulations
- Attend all elements of the training event to support client’s training and learning experience, including pre-flight and post flight briefings
- Maintain professional conduct in all interactions with clients and instructors
- Completes necessary forms and checklists as required for pilot monitoring role
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED
- Commercial or Airline Transport Certificate
- Airplane Multi-Engine land
- Instrument rating with 50 hours of instrument experience
- 400 hours of total flight time (100 hours of turbine, preferred) ***This can be reduced to 250 hours if the candidate has a 2 or 4 year aviation university degree or is a graduate of a CAE Academy (with Local Head of Training permission)
- Must be eligible to meet all TSA requirements
- Experience with advanced avionics is preferred
- Ability to work flexible hours which can include, mornings, evenings, holidays and weekends

- Must live within 2 hours of the training facility.
