The Kansas City Mavericks are looking to hire a Team Content Producer. The ideal individual will have a professional demeanor with the ability to communicate clearly to executives at all levels (both internally and externally), report directly to the Team President, and work closely with Hockey Ops, Ticket Sales, Corporate Sponsorship, Community Relations, and Social Media. Candidate will be detail oriented, well organized, and have the ability to manage various tasks simultaneously and meet demanding deadlines. Candidate must also have the ability to work independently by taking initiative, recommending solutions, and making informed decisions.

Job Functions: Manage Team’s need for all digital content within Game Operations Department, including audio/video, production, and creative direction.
Job Description & Essential Duties:
  • Shoot, edit, and direct all videos for Game Ops, Hockey Ops, Ticket Sales, Corporate Sponsorship, Community Relations, and Social Media.
  • Game and event highlights on TV through FTP or other avenues.
  • Video features of players, coaches, events, etc. throughout the hockey season and offseason.
  • Graphics for all videos.
  • Videos, including, but not limited to:
    • Season Wrap Up
    • Hockey Ops Recruiting
    • Helmet Cam
    • Player/Team Introductions
    • Corporate Commercials
    • In-game Promotions
    • Website Videos
    • Game Highlights

Work Environment:
This job operates in a professional, fast-paced office and arena environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and fax machines.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:
This is a full-time position. Normal days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 5 PM. Additional hours of work and flexibility are necessary on evenings, weekends, holidays and extended weekdays as job demands.

Qualifications & Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university
  • Availability and willingness to work all Kansas City Mavericks home games and assigned events
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to develop and maintain professional relationships
  • Strong organizational skills, time management, and attention to detail
  • Exhibit good judgment and decision-making skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills
  • Self-starter, with ability to work independently or as part of a team
