We are looking for a Technical Business Analyst with experience in working on high-performing, scalable, enterprise-grade applications.
You will be part of FX Enhancements team that works on critical Global Markets platforms with deliveries across front, middle and back-office functionalities on the vendor platform.
Configure and test any changes required for FX application and reporting enhancements to large bank-wide initiatives.
Develop Oracle SQL procedures, windows schedulers, and batch scripts for new reports.
Work closely with businesses to deliver new enhancements and projects in FX space.
Contribute in all phases of the development lifecycle.
Ensure designs are in compliance with specifications.
Prepare and support releases of software components.
Well-versed with agile approaches depending on the project and context, using Scrum, Kanban, or other approaches as we see fit.
Must have
5+ years as a Technical business analyst in the banking and finance domain (forex, Swift, cls settlements, back-office settlements).
Strong analytical skills, problem-solving, logical reasoning, and sense of urgency to get things done.
Strong Oracle SQL knowledge (should be able to develop new procedures independently).
Be comfortable dealing with uncertainty and shifting priorities as per business needs.
Strong in Agile ceremonies, user story writing, acceptance criteria writing, and Jira good practices.
Be a team player who works well in a dynamic working environment.
Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or relevant degree.
Excellent Communication and interpersonal skills
able to deal with Product Owners, Senior business and technical stakeholders.
Should be comfortable switching roles (Developer, BA, and Tester) and working in a lean agile team.
WallStreet will be an added advantage
Nice to have
Understanding of any scripting knowledge vb, Unix, shell scripting, java, javascript, python
Experience in Front and back Office environments dealing with institutional trading, settlement, payment, and reconciliation
Familiarity with financial products, particularly FX and MM
Experience in configuring and implementing vendor products such as Wallstreet/Calypso in front to back office context would be an advantage
Good to have Python development experience on test automation project
