Job Description

As a Technical Program Manager at Google, you’ll use your technical expertise to lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish. You’ll work with stakeholders to plan requirements, identify risks, manage project schedules, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners. Responsibilities include providing software development and project management, developing data solutions to empower the supply chain team, communicating insights to stakeholders, and managing multiple projects simultaneously. You will build dashboards, conduct analytics, develop predictive models, and automate anomaly detection. This role requires strong communication, organizational, and project management skills, along with experience in statistical data analysis, data mining, and querying (SQL, Python, or R).
Must have:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • 2+ years project management experience
  • Experience with statistical data analysis
  • SQL, Python or R proficiency
  • Project scheduling and risk identification
  • Cross-functional team collaboration
Good to have:
  • 2+ years managing cross-functional projects
  • Experience with Machine Learning (Clustering, Supervised Learning)
  • Experience with monitoring and analysis tools at scale
  • Supply Chain Management or Data Center Technology familiarity

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 2 years of experience managing projects.
  • Experience with statistical data analysis, data mining, and querying (e.g., SQL), Python or R.

Preferred qualifications:

  • 2 years of experience managing cross-functional and/or cross-team projects.
  • Experience working with statistics and Machine Learning such as Clustering, Supervised Learning.
  • Experience with monitoring and analysis tools, especially data at scale.
  • Familiarity with Supply Chain Management or Data Center Technology.
  • Demonstrable organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects with competing priorities.

Responsibilities

  • Provide software development and project management, coordination, and inter/intra team communications to deliver outstanding program outcomes.
  • Develop data solutions that empower the supply chain team to make informed decisions and optimize performance. This includes building dashboards, conducting descriptive and diagnostic analytics, developing predictive models, and automating anomaly detection.
  • Communicate insights to stakeholders, influence product and process improvements, and drive implementation of data-driven recommendations.
  • Plan, organize, and execute multiple projects simultaneously, adapting to shifting priorities and ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.
  • Manage project schedules, identify possible issues and clearly communicate them to project stakeholders.
