Within our global, Managed Services platform, we provide Application Evolution Services (formerly Application Managed Services), where we focus more so on the evolution of our clients’ applications and cloud portfolio. Our focus is to empower our client’s to navigate and capture the value of their application portfolio while cost-effectively operating and protecting their solutions. We do this so that our clients can focus on what matters most to your business: accelerating growth that is dynamic, efficient and cost-effective.  

As a member of our Application Evolution Services (AES) team, we are looking for candidates who thrive working in a high-paced work environment capable of working on a mix of critical Application Evolution Service offerings and engagement including help desk support, enhancement and optimization work, as well as strategic roadmap and advisory level work.  It will also be key to lend experience and effort in helping win and support customer engagements from not only a technical perspective, but also a relationship perspective.

Demonstrates a thorough level of abilities with, and/or a proven record of success as both an individual contributor and team member with focus on deep expertise, continuous execution, throughput and quality 

 

General skill set:

• Have extensive 6 to 10 years of experience of SAP MM module along with IDOC processing and worked on multiple implementation and support/operate projects 

• As a Senior Associate, you'll work as part of a team of problem solvers, helping to solve complex business issues from strategy to execution. PwC Professional skills and responsibilities for this management level include but are not limited to:

• Understand client requirements, provide solutions, functional specifications and implement the same 

• Excellent Communication, analytical and Interpersonal skills as a consultant

• Use feedback and reflection to develop self-awareness, personal strengths and address development areas.

• Be flexible to work in 2nd shift (2 pm IST to 11 pm IST)

• Demonstrate critical thinking and the ability to bring order to unstructured problems.

• Adherence to SLAs, experience in incident management, change management and problem management.

• Know how and when to use tools available for a given situation and can explain the reasons for this choice.

• Seek and embrace opportunities which give exposure to different situations, environments and perspectives.

• Use straightforward communication, in a structured way, when influencing and connecting with others.

• Able to read situations and modify behavior to build quality relationships.

• Work in a team environment that includes client interactions, workstream management, and cross-team collaboration.

Strong Knowledge in:

• The SAP Application Specialist should be very knowledgeable in Oil and Gas Joint Venture Accounting with required SAP JVA product module/suite business processes, navigation mechanics, and configuration requirements and integration with other modules.

• Ability to configure SAP JVA, deliver work products / packages confirming to the Client's Standards & Requirements. 

• Knowledge and experience on all the Month end activities of JVA Module.

• Experience working on JVA Issues like Cutback, Pre-Post equity adjustment, PCO, Cash call, Billing, Allocation, and distribution in JVA Module. 

• Proven experience as an SAP JVA Consultant, with a focus on Joint Venture Accounting processes within the oil and gas industry.

• In-depth knowledge of SAP JVA modules, including configuration, customization, and integration with other SAP modules.

• Strong understanding of joint venture accounting principles, industry regulations, and compliance requirements.

• Experience with SAP S/4HANA is highly desirable.

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze complex business processes and propose effective SAP JVA solutions.

• Strong communication skills, with the ability to interact with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.

• SAP certification in JVA is a plus. 

  

Preferred Skills: 

• Experience in S/4 HANA 

• Exposure to interfaces like ALE/IDOC or EDI/IDOC with little technical knowledge

• Experience with SAP Tools such as LSMW and Service Management Tools such as ServiceNow
