Job Description

The Analyst Ads Financial role at Google's Americas Ads Finance team involves delivering insights into business drivers, user/product metrics, and market trends for the Latam/Canada LCS Ads business. Responsibilities include identifying risks and opportunities, providing actionable recommendations, improving finance processes, and collaborating with other teams for alignment and data consistency. The analyst will own and improve operational processes, provide regular reporting and insights, and develop tools and analysis to drive business growth. This role requires strong analytical skills, data manipulation abilities (SQL), problem-solving expertise, and effective communication to present findings and influence decisions at executive levels. The successful candidate will possess a Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field and at least 4 years of relevant experience.

Must have:

Bachelor's degree in quantitative field
4+ years of experience in financial analysis
SQL experience
Data analysis and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication skills

Good to have:

Experience building financial reporting
Experience with scalable monitoring and reporting solutions
Experience presenting findings to executive leaders

Minimum qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Statistics, or another quantitative field, or equivalent practical experience.
4 years of experience in financial planning and analysis, consulting, or a related function, or an advanced degree.
Experience in databases including SQL.

Preferred qualifications:

Experience with building financial reporting, produce analysis, implementing scalable monitoring and implementing reporting solutions.
Experience in a role that involves problem solving, analysis and presenting/communicating findings that can be used to drive decisions for an industry to executive leaders.
Experience writing SQL queries and retrieving data from relational databases.
Ability to work with data to produce analysis, influencing decision making with numerical analysis and generating insights.
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills Ability to design compelling stories for complex problems.

Responsibilities

Deliver insights into drivers of business, user / product metrics and market trends to support and shape the strategy of the Latam/Canada LCS Ads business; identify risks and opportunities with actionable recommendations.
Identify opportunities to improve Latam/Canada LCS Ads Finance processes and lead efforts to scale across the markets.
Interact with other Ads Finance, Go To Market and other regional central teams to assure strategic and problem-solving alignment, as well as data consistency and efficiency.
Own, run and improve operational processes from that support the Latam/Canada LCS Ads business.
Provide regular reporting and insights for the Ads Business while developing tools and analysis to drive incremental business.
