Job Description

The Technical Solutions Consultant, Customer Experience role within gTech Ads Sellside focuses on resolving complex technical issues and optimizing workflows for Google's sales teams and publishers. This involves troubleshooting data and tool access problems, collaborating with Product Managers and Software Engineers to improve existing tools and develop new ones, and working closely with internal and external stakeholders (consumers, advertisers, publishers) to deliver technical solutions. The position requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication, and the ability to manage stakeholder expectations. Responsibilities include analyzing and resolving technical issues, identifying opportunities for workflow automation, collaborating on code development and implementation to enhance troubleshooting and user experience, and communicating technical and business feedback.
Must have:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • System design or programming experience (Java, C++, Python)
  • Technical troubleshooting expertise
  • Partner/customer management experience
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
Good to have:
  • SQL/MySQL knowledge
  • Unix/Linux OS and commands
  • Project management skills
  • Technical leadership
  • Ability to travel

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • Experience in either system design or in one programming language (Java, C++, Python, etc.).
  • Experience in technical troubleshooting, and managing internal/external partners or customers.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Knowledge of SQL/MySQL, and Unix/Linux operating systems and commands.
  • Ability to collaborate, build consensus, deliver and drive technical decisions with various sized customer stakeholder groups.
  • Ability to travel to meet with specific partner and client stakeholders.
  • Strong technical leadership, project management, analytical problem solving, and troubleshooting skills.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze and resolve complex technical problems and roadblocks around data and tools access.
  • Identify opportunities to optimize and automate workflows across a wide variety of projects.
  • Work closely with Product Managers and Software Engineers to improve or develop new Google tools and products.
  • Collaborate with Consumer and Engineering teams to write complex code and implement tools to improve troubleshooting efficiency and the end user experience.
  • Manage stakeholder expectations and communicate with internal teams and external consumers, advertisers, and publishers to provide technical and business feedback as well as deliver technical solutions.
