Job Description

As an Apprentice Vehicle Technician at Tesla in Mount Gravatt, you'll be part of a team providing exceptional service to Tesla customers. This hands-on role involves learning from experienced technicians, working with cutting-edge electric vehicle technology, and completing a Certificate III in Automotive Electric Vehicle Technology. Responsibilities include supporting the service team, performing basic service work and inspections, maintaining workshop cleanliness, and adhering to Tesla's processes and procedures. The apprenticeship begins in January 2025, requiring Year 12 completion, a valid driver's license, strong communication and technical skills, and a passion for electric vehicles.

What You’ll Do
  • Work as a team to deliver results and achieve daily goals
  • Provide critical support to the Service Team
  • Complete Tesla Specific training and a Certificate lll in Automotive Electric Vehicle Technology
  • Develop knowledge of all Tesla products, service systems, process and procedures
  • Perform basic service work and inspections of new and inventory cars under supervision
  • Maintain cleanliness of vehicles and Service Centre Workshop
What You’ll Bring
  • Educational experience: Year 12 completion
  • Eligibility to attend foundation training through a Registered Training Organisation
  • Valid driver's license
  • Fluent English
  • Technical acumen – interest in electronics and technology
  • Excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and time management skills
  • Ability to learn on the job, work quickly, efficiently and follow instructions
  • Ability to handle shifting priorities and meet deadlines
  • Energetic and enthusiastic with a team-player attitude
  • Love to change the status quo and work in high-pressure situations.
