- Fluent Japanese communication
- Work with sales teams to identify opportunities
- Kubernetes, Containers, Cloud Native ecosystem knowledge

Job Details
Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 6 years of IT industry experience creating infrastructure environments for AI workloads.
- Experience working and architecting a GPU, TPU, or HPC clusters.
- Experience with orchestration tools (e.g., Slurm) and a distributed file systems (e.g., Lustre used for AI workloads).
- Experience with frameworks for deep learning (e.g., PyTorch, Tensorflow, Jax, Ray, etc.).
- Ability to communicate in Japanese fluently to communicate with local customers.
Preferred qualifications:
- Knowledge of Kubernetes, Containers, and Cloud Native ecosystem.
- Ability to communicate in English fluently to collaborate with internal stakeholders.

As a Customer Engineer, you will partner with technical Sales teams as a subject matter expert in AI infrastructure and High Performance Computing (HPC) to differentiate Google Cloud to our customers.

Responsibilities
- Work with the team to identify and qualify business opportunities, understand key customer technical objections and develop the strategy to resolve technical blockers.
- Share AI infrastructure expertise to support the technical relationship with customers, including technology advocacy, supporting bid responses, product and solution briefings, proof-of-concept work and partnering directly with product management to prioritize solutions impacting customer adoption to Google Cloud.
- Work directly with Google Cloud product teams to demonstrate and prototype integrations in customer and partner environments.
- Recommend integration strategies, platforms, and application infrastructure to implement a complete solution on Google Cloud.
