Job Description

As a Data Engineer at Nexters' Attribution team, you'll build and optimize attribution systems, working with large datasets to analyze marketing campaign effectiveness. You'll develop ETL processes, integrate with various data sources (internal and external), and implement attribution models based on user ad interactions, adhering to algorithms designed by analysts. A key focus is ensuring accurate attribution even with stricter data privacy regulations (Consent Mode). Responsibilities include building attribution models, implementing data pipelines, working with tracking system data, and integrating with diverse data sources. The role is crucial for efficient marketing budget allocation and new user acquisition.

Must have:

Strong knowledge of SQL and Python
Experience creating ETL processes
Experience with big data

Good to have:

Experience with Spark (Databricks)
Experience with attribution
Experience in marketing analysis

We are looking for an experienced Data Engineer to join a team that solves key challenges in user attribution and analyzes the effectiveness of marketing campaigns.
What are these products, and what problems do they solve?
You will work with products that play a critical role in the business. Attribution is a vital growth area responsible for the efficient allocation of marketing budgets and attracting new users.
In the context of stricter data privacy regulations, one of the product's key tasks is to ensure accurate attribution of acquisition channels despite challenges with accessing user data.Primary focus areas for the product (but not limited to):
Working with big data
Creating and optimizing attribution systems
Marketing campaign analytics
Addressing issues related to data unavailability and the need for obtaining user consent (Consent Mode)
What you'll be doing:
Building an attribution model based on user ad interactions, following algorithms designed by analysts
Implementing pipelines using data from multiple sources when hypotheses are confirmed
Working with tracking system data
Integrating with internal and external data sources
We hope that you have
Strong knowledge of SQL and Python
Experience creating ETL processes (Luigi / Apache Airflow / etc)
Nice to have
Experience with Spark (Databricks)
Experience with attribution
Experience in marketing analysis
