NVIDIA is looking for a Director to lead our Global Interconnect System Sourcing Team including Connector, Cable & Optics for the products across multiple business units. What you’ll be doing:

This Interconnect System Group Director will be a transformative leader who can develop, deliver, and implement comprehensive commodity strategies. You are a recognized leader, with executive contacts throughout the industry, and have experience leading sourcing teams for various business segments. As a global commodity management professional, you demonstrate strong analytical skills to guide decisions, are highly collaborative and have both business acumen and technical experience in the Connector, Cable and Optics industry. You will have successfully transformed commodity management teams, led supplier engagements, and have provided outstanding value to other operations and engineering teams.

  • Build a strategy and vision for NVIDIA's Connector, Cable, and Optics commodity management team. Incorporate internal and external ideas to establish a robust sourcing team.

  • Collaborate with and build positive and productive relationships with Suppliers and internal functions to deliver top and bottom-line results

  • Collaborate with and influence leaders across various cross-functional organizations, collaborators, suppliers on a regular basis; coordinate engagement with the entire ecosystem.

  • Drive multi-year strategies and partnership engagement to support NVIDIA's fast growth business requirements

  • Develop goals and objectives for the Connector, Cable and Optics commodity team that supports business needs. Provide ongoing development, coaching and performance management to the team and ensure a high level of performance.

What we need to see:

  • 15+ overall years of strategic sourcing and high-tech industry experience or related field, 8+ years of management experience

  • Extensive global sourcing leadership experience building and engaging global Connector, Cable and Optic partners

  • BA / BS degree (Masters preferred), or equivalent experience

  • Outstanding negotiation skills in executive supplier management

  • Excellent communications and influencing skills working with engineering, finance, business units, and other supply chain functions

  • High degree of integrity, initiative, and attention to detail

The base salary range is 216,000 USD - 339,250 USD. Your base salary will be determined based on your location, experience, and the pay of employees in similar positions.
