The Employer Branding Lead will develop and execute strategies to position Mad Head Games as a top employer, managing internal and external communications. Responsibilities include overseeing brand strategy, managing social media presence, building partnerships, planning events, and leading teams. The ideal candidate should have 5+ years of experience in employer branding, communications, or marketing, with strong leadership, communication, and project management skills.
Must have:
  • 5+ years of experience in employer branding, communications, HR, or marketing.
  • Experience in leading teams and managing cross-functional collaboration.
  • Strong understanding of internal and external communication strategies.
  • Ability to build and execute employer branding campaigns across multiple channels.
  • Experience in partnership development and event coordination.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills.
  • Excellent written and spoken English and Serbian.
Good to have:
  • Experience in the gaming, tech, or entertainment industry.
  • Familiarity with digital marketing, social media strategies, and recruitment marketing.
  • Experience working with external agencies and partners.
  • Copywriting experience.
  • Senior experience in HR partnering, projects or other HR areas of expertise.

Job Details

You are a strategic thinker with a passion for employer branding, internal and external communications, and talent attraction. You are eager to position Mad Head Games as a top employer in the gaming industry and beyond, ensuring a clear and engaging message reaches both employees and potential candidates. From internal communication clarity to external brand visibility, you will be at the forefront of shaping how Mad Head Games is perceived as a workplace.

We are unconventional creators of action games for PC and consoles - extremely fun to work with and definitely not for the faint-hearted. For over a decade, we pioneered the local game dev scene, driven by the ambition to become the regional game dev leader.

On that quest, we pave our way with exciting games developed in Unreal Engine. Scars Above, our latest title, is a challenging and immersive 3rd-person Sci-Fi shooter set in a mysterious alien world to explore. We are also developing two new, unannounced games based on famous and beloved IPs, which franchises' fans will eagerly anticipate! While we can't reveal too much just yet, we can promise these titles will push the boundaries of regional game development and generate some serious hype.

We're looking for someone who shares our passion for creativity, innovation, and fun to join us in our offices in Novi Sad or Belgrade. If you're up for the challenge and ready to make your mark on the gaming world, we'd love to hear from you.


What will you be doing as a Mad Head?

  • Develop and execute employer branding strategies aligned with the company's values, culture, and goals to position MHG as a top employer.

  • Shape and oversee the brand strategy, positioning, and communication style of the company. 

  • Oversee internal communications, including All Hands meetings, internal communication pages, and public channels, as well as drive internal communication projects.

  • Manage MHG’s presence across social media, the company website, job portals, and PR channels, while collaborating with MHG recruitment team and publishers to attract top talent.

  • Build and nurture partnerships with gaming associations, educational institutions, and student organizations.

  • Plan and oversee internal and external events that support employer branding.

  • Lead and mentor the Communications, Visual Design, and Partnerships teams.

  • Ensure high-quality execution of communication and branding initiatives.

  • Work on various HR initiatives, projects and activities


What do we expect from our ideal candidate?

  • 5+ years of experience in employer branding, communications, HR, or marketing.

  • Experience in leading teams and managing cross-functional collaboration.

  • Strong understanding of internal and external communication strategies.

  • Ability to build and execute employer branding campaigns across multiple channels.

  • Experience in partnership development and event coordination.

  • Strong project management and organizational skills.

  • Excellent written and spoken English and Serbian.


It would be a plus if you have:

  • Experience in the gaming, tech, or entertainment industry.

  • Familiarity with digital marketing, social media strategies, and recruitment marketing.

  • Experience working with external agencies and partners.

  • Copywriting experience

  • Senior experience in HR partnering, projects or other HR areas of expertise
