Illustrator & 2D Animator

FOR INDIVIDUALS WITH 6 MONTHS TO 2 YEARS OF EXPERIENCE AS AN ILLUSTRATOR CUM 2D ANIMATOR

Responsibilities:

2D Animation:

• Create 2D animations that align with STOM Productions' creative standards and project requirements.
• Develop and produce high-quality 2D motion graphics for various platforms, including digital media, social media, video content, and advertisements.
• Develop and execute character animation sequences, including body movements, facial expressions, and gestures.
• Create walk cycles, run cycles, and other character movements that reflect natural and believable motion.
• Collaborate with the animation team, directors, and other stakeholders to refine and adjust animations as needed.
• Work with storyboards to bring scenes to life through animation.
• Add animations and video graphics on live action films using After Effects where needed.
• Integrate appropriate soundtracks, dialogue, and special effects to enhance the emotional impact and narrative flow of the animation.

Illustration

• Create original artwork and illustrations that capture the essence of our stories and enhance the overall aesthetic of our projects.
• Develop concept illustrations and visual elements that align with the project's vision.
• Utilize software such as Photoshop and Illustrator to bring illustrations to life, ensuring they meet STOM Productions' creative standards.
• Maintain consistency in style and visual continuity throughout the project.
• Rig characters for facial expressions and body movements, ensuring that rigs are user-friendly and easy to control for animators.
• Design and build character rigs, including the skeletal system with joints, bones, and controls.

Requrirements

• Minimum 6 months to 2 years of experience as an animator.
• Freshers are welcome to apply provided you have worked on animation films, can be passion projects and have a good hold on the software.
• Proficiency in After Effects, Photoshop and Illustrator
• Should be able to work under tight deadlines.
• Excellent eye for detail and the ability to maintain visual continuity throughout the film.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively work with a diverse team.
• Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities to overcome editing challenges.
• Passion to learn and grow with the team
• Preferably Bangalore based.

Educational Qualification

• Graduate / Postgraduate in Visual Communication / Filmmaking
• Diploma in Animation
