Position Overview: Game Tester

Overview:We are seeking a skilled Game Tester with a minimum of 1 year of experience to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of QA methodologies and practices, proficiency in writing test cases, and excellent communication skills. Experience in Agile environments and familiarity with bug tracking and test management tools are essential for this role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Test Case Development: Create detailed test cases based on functional specifications and use cases to ensure comprehensive coverage of game features and functionalities.
• QA Methodologies: Apply knowledge of QA methodologies to ensure high-quality testing standards are met throughout the development lifecycle.
• Communication: Effectively communicate with development teams, business analysts, and stakeholders to clarify testing requirements and provide regular updates on testing progress, issues, and risks.
• Agile Collaboration: Work collaboratively in Agile teams to integrate testing activities into each sprint and participate in Agile ceremonies.
• Tool Proficiency: Utilize bug tracking tools (e.g., Jira) and test management tools (e.g., TestRail) proficiently to track defects, manage test cases, and report testing progress.
• API Testing (Desirable): Conduct API testing to ensure seamless integration between different components of the game.
• Global Compliance (Desirable): Possess pre-compliance knowledge of different jurisdictions worldwide, particularly in gambling regulations, to ensure games comply with international standards.

Requirements:

• Experience: Minimum 1+ years of experience in Game Testing, demonstrating a solid understanding of testing methodologies and practices.
• QA Skills: Well-versed with QA concepts and methodologies, with the ability to write clear and concise test cases.
• Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
• Agile Experience: Previous experience working in Agile development environments, participating in sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
• Tools: Proficiency in using bug tracking tools (e.g., Jira) and test management tools (e.g., TestRail) to track defects and manage test cases efficiently.
