We are looking for a Technical Writer to join our growing team in Redmond, WA United States!

Job Description:

We are looking for a technical writer to write documentation for an engineering organization focused on research for AR and VR devices.
Working closely with the program manager, you will take responsibility for developing, writing, and editing business process, user support guides and technical documentation and documentation sets for software and hardware products primarily through the Wiki sites.
This position requires an experienced and highly motivated individual that is able to organize information logically and interface with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Requires expertise in content management tools and authoring. Will collaborate effectively with a wide variety of team members and groups.
Partner with training developers, preparing complementary documentation and courseware.

Responsibilities:

Conceptualize, plan, develop, and write a variety of business process, user support guides and technical documentation sets, including technical material.
Perform simultaneous task and project coordination for multiple projects.
Support all product related Wikis.
Attend and contribute to documentation team meetings.
Take on special projects outside the scope of regular tasks.

Requirements:

Solid and proven skills with a variety of technical documentation publishing tools.
Ability to function well and be flexible, in a fast-paced development environment with rapidly changing deadlines and project scope.
Can successfully translate complex concepts into user-friendly clear, concise information for the end user.
Have excellent communications and teamwork skills.
Ability to handle special projects and lead initiatives in addition to your core writing responsibilities.
Possess technical knowledge, industry knowledge, champion improvements, think globally and work cross-geographically.
Most have excellent interpersonal, organization, analytical skills, and eye for detail.
Must have ability to identify the significantly complex information needs of target audiences, develop appropriate documentation plans, and manage the execution of those plans concurrently.

Must Have:

Possess technical knowledge, industry knowledge, champion improvements, think globally and work cross-geographically.
Most have excellent interpersonal, organization, analytical skills, and eye for detail.
Must have ability to identify the significantly complex information needs of target audiences, develop appropriate documentation plans, and manage the execution of those plans concurrently.

A Competitive pay, the salary range for the role is $80,000 - $90,000.
