Key Responsibilities:
Research and maintain new brands and parent companies added through the harmonization process according to established guidelines.
Harmonize unmapped vendor data descriptions and creatives to Ad Intel reference data using established guidelines.
Identify valid new brand records to flag for additional research.
Research problem areas found in the database through daily maintenance procedures to address and resolve discrepancies
Interact with the Ad Intel Education department to provide input regarding specific advertising and guideline recommendations.
Focus on digital advertising brands, with the remaining time spent on other media as needed.
Stay updated with industry trends, changes in brand definitions, and creative characteristics to ensure accurate research and harmonization.
Watch and listen to commercial suspects via video clips and use Ad Intel classification guidelines to determine the type of suspect (commercial, promo, PSA, etc.).
Identify the brand being advertised based on video and audio content, and identify the creative characteristics of the commercial.
Match the brand with existing information in the database or create new brands and/or creatives when necessary.
Complete the coding of commercial suspects within established timeframes to meet productivity goals.
Adhere to coding business rules and guidelines to ensure accurate and consistent data classification.
Maintain an acceptable quality score by ensuring accuracy and attention to detail in the coding process.
Meet and maintain an acceptable productivity rate to ensure efficient data coding operations.
Stay updated with industry trends, changes in brand definitions, and creative characteristics to ensure accurate coding.
Collaborate with team members to resolve coding discrepancies and provide feedback for process improvements.
Key Requirements:
Must speak and write American English.
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent work experience.
Strong research skills and ability to verify and maintain data according to established guidelines.
Familiarity with digital advertising brands and creative characteristics.
Knowledge of other media and advertising industry trends.
Ability to work independently and meet established deadlines.
Proficient in using data management tools and software.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
Ability to adapt to changing guidelines, procedures, and business rules.
Prior experience in data analysis, brand research, or coding is a plus.
Experience working in a production environment is a plus.
