THE ROLE:
ProbablyMonsters is looking for an Associate Engineer to become part of the core development team for an unannounced studio located in Dallas-Fort Worth, TX.

Location(s) and Travel:
We are a Hybrid Studio. We believe that the office and home have their place in today’s work environment. Employees must be able to access the office located in the Dallas-Fort Worth area. There will be a minimal amount of travel in this role. (Less than 10%)

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

Collaborate with designers, artists, and engineers to bring a new game to life.

Craft innovative solutions and make impactful contributions using C++ and Unreal Blueprints.

Tackle debugging across various platforms, addressing both functional and performance issues.

QUALIFICATIONS:

BS in Computer Science or Software Engineering.

Proficient in crafting quality C++ code.

Solid understanding of 3D mathematics, including vector math and linear algebra.

Knowledgeable in developing real-time software applications.
-
Self-motivated with exceptional time management and both written and verbal communication skills.

Familiarity with Unreal Engine is a plus, but not a prerequisite for the role.

Must already live in the vicinity of Dallas, TX, or be willing to relocate.

A programming test may be required for this position.

Compensation:

This is a full-time, benefits-eligible, exempt (salaried) position.

The full salary range for this position is $ - $ per year. The upper third of the salary range is typically reserved for existing employees who demonstrate strong performance over time. When an offer is made, many factors are considered, such as your unique experience and skills, where you live, where the work will be performed, what similar jobs pay and internal equity.

In addition to base pay, employees in this role may be eligible for additional incentives, such as a sign-on bonus and short- and long-term incentives. Incentive compensation is not guaranteed.
