Job Description

Tesla is seeking a Body Repair Assembly Technician in Oakleigh, Australia to join its groundbreaking Body Repair Program. The role involves assisting technicians in completing structural and cosmetic repairs on Tesla vehicles (Models S, 3, X, & Y), adhering to Tesla's specific repair procedures. Responsibilities include reassembling vehicle panels to as-new condition, testing reassembly for safety and operability, cleaning and polishing vehicles post-repair, and preparing vehicles for customer collection. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious technician early in their panel beating, painting, or mechanical apprenticeship, with full support and training provided. The position is planned to open in Q1 2025.

Must have:

1+ years automotive experience or similar
Excellent communication & teamwork skills
Reliable, innovative, driven, collaborative
Clean & valid driver's license
Basic computer literacy

What You’ll Do

Assist Techicians and wider team to complete structural and cosmetic repairs on Tesla Models S, 3, X & Y vehicles in accordance with Tesla specific repair procedures
Reassemble vehicle panels in accordance with documented procedures to as-new condition
Test and evaulate reassembly for safety and operability
Cleaning and polishing vehicles after repairs and preparing vehicles for customer collection
