The Business Development Representative will play a vital role in driving pipeline growth by managing and qualifying inbound leads generated by the demand generation team. They will develop leads into prospects by understanding their challenges and effectively communicating Conga's value, focusing on converting leads into qualified meetings for the sales team. Responsibilities include qualifying prospects, transitioning leads to the Sales Executive team, documenting sales information in Salesforce, following up on trials, meeting weekly goals, utilizing sales tools, and taking initiative with new outreach sequences. The Business Development team performs one of the most critical functions within Conga. Our pipeline is our lifeline. You'll be the first line of communication with potential prospects and one of Conga's biggest advocates.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Manage and qualify inbound leads generated by the demand generation team.
  • Develop leads into prospects by understanding their challenges and effectively communicating Conga's value.
  • Qualify prospects and identify high-potential leads. Transition qualified leads to the Sales Executive team for further engagement.
  • Document sales information and utilize the lead qualification process in Salesforce.
  • Follow up on trials with no response or usage activity.
  • Meet weekly goals and established metrics.
  • Utilize provided sales tools effectively.
  • Take initiative with new outreach sequences and own the process.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Listed below is the U.S. base salary range for this full-time position. Within the range, individual pay is determined by job-related skills, experience, and relevant education, or training. In addition to base salary, Conganeers receive a variable incentive pay component, perks such as flexible work options, and a full range of benefits including medical and dental insurance. 

The posted salary ranges are for the expectations outlined in the job description.  We are often open to a wide variety of profiles and sometimes have flexibility within our organizational structure to adjust the role responsibilities up or down should we select a candidate that is less or more experienced than the posted job requirements.  In these occasional cases, we will communicate the revised salary range to the candidate during the selection process.

U.S base salary range:

$45,000 - $51,000 USD
