About the role

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Motion Designer to join our creative team. This role requires a strong foundation in motion design principles, coupled with the ability to create interactive digital experiences that perform efficiently on web platforms. You should have expertise in designing animations that enhance user engagement and storytelling while maintaining web performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and animate high-quality motion graphics and interactive experiences for websites, digital platforms, and marketing campaigns.
• Mandatory: Proficiency in Rive to design and implement interactive animations optimized for web performance
• Experience with tools like Adobe After Effects and Lottie to support additional animation needs across platforms.
• Work with JSON-based animations (Lottie) to ensure smooth integration of motion graphics into web environments.
• Develop interactive animations that respond to user behavior and enhance website usability.
• Collaborate closely with UX/UI designers and developers to ensure animations are seamlessly integrated into web experiences.
• Optimize animations for performance, accessibility, and responsiveness across different devices and browsers.
• Stay updated on emerging trends and technologies in motion design and interactive media.

Required skills

• 3 - 12 years of experience in motion design, with a strong portfolio showcasing interactive digital experiences.
• Mandatory: Proficiency in Rive for creating interactive, web-optimized animations.
• Experience with Adobe After Effects, Lottie, JSON-based animation frameworks, and Figma for supporting design and animation workflows.
• Experience in product/UI animations.
• Strong understanding of UI/UX principles and how motion impacts user experience.
• Strong understanding of mobile development limitations and best practices, and how to adapt executions to those form factors.
• A keen eye for maintaining best practices related to optimization and performance.
• Experience with SVG animations, CSS animations, and WebGL is a plus.
• Ability to create lightweight, high-performance animations optimized for websites.
• Strong skills in graphic design, typography, and storytelling through motion.
• Comfortable with ambiguity and early-stage ideas, with the ability to turn nebulous ideas and prompts into actionable outcomes.
• Compelling presentation and communication skills, with a habit of proactive communication.
• Experience collaborating with developers and an understanding of front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) is a bonus.
