Job Title : UI Developer / Frontend Developer

About The Role

The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in REACT (or similar js-frameworks) with a focus on UI frontend development and a keen eye for translating design into responsive, accessible, and visually appealing user interfaces. You will work independently, with the primary responsibility of ensuring the visual integrity of the application while contributing to frontend development tasks. Convert designs into high-quality HTML with full attention to responsive and accessible standards. Maintain and safeguard the overall visual design of the application, ensuring consistency and quality across all components.

Role Responsibilities:

• Convert designs into high-quality HTML with full attention to responsive and accessible standards.

• Maintain and safeguard the overall visual design of the application, ensuring consistency and quality across all components.

•   Implement and improve user experience (UX) in alignment with the overall product vision.

• Support the team on frontend development tasks, especially those involving React.

• Stay vigilant on design improvements and contribute ideas for new features and enhancements, being proactive in seeking interaction with UX and Marketing.

What you will do:

• Should be able to develop an application with any JavaScript framework React

• Maintain reusable code and improve code quality.

• Optimize application for maximum speed.

• Should be an individual contributor role. (SME)

• Should take ownership and work closely with other teams. such as the back end.

• Make suggestions for better solutions to problems and keep abreast of the latest and emerging technologies.

• Be comfortable working throughout the lifespan of a project.

• We operate in a hybrid tech-stack environment, encompassing both open-source and low-code technologies. While your primary focus will be on the open-source side of our ecosystem, you will also develop expertise in the low-code platform as part of your broader skillset.

Experience , Skills and Qualification :

• Proficient in React or similar frameworks like Angular or Vue.

• Extensive experience with GIT for version control and collaboration.

• Expert knowledge of Bootstrap and preprocessor languages (e.g., SASS, LESS).

• Expert-level proficiency in HTML, including best practices for accessibility (e.g., ARIA, semantic HTML).

• Ability to work independently while contributing to the broader development team.

Nice-to-Have:

• Familiarity with Ruby on Rails.

• Familiarity with Mendix Low Code platform

What You Know:

• A minimum of 4+ years of UI development experience is required.

• Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.

• Experience with front-end development frameworks like REACT latest version i.e. 12+

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Experience with accessibility testing tools and WCAG guidelines.

• Experience with preprocessor languages (e.g., SASS, LESS).

• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).

• Experience with API integration for UI elements.

Work Environment:

Hybrid model: Twice a week in-office work required.
