As a Business Development Representative, you will be responsible for prospecting, engaging potential customers, and executing sales strategies. You will research and develop prospect lists, execute marketing campaigns, and create interest in GoTo products through outbound calls, online chat, and email. Your responsibilities include meeting or exceeding KPIs, analyzing performance data, and collaborating with team members to improve results. The job also involves a focus on new user acquisition and conversions to drive business growth. The role requires excellent communication, time management, and a high degree of business acumen.
Must have:
  • 1 year of experience in Sales, preferably SaaS
  • Comfortable with cold outreach and prospect cadences
  • Coachable, curious, and intrinsically motivated

Your Day to Day  

As a Business Development Representative, you would be working on 

  • Prospecting: Research, create, develop targeted prospect listsExecute marketing campaigns to increase new user acquisition and conversions. Work on centralized outbound campaigns in partnership with Marketing, the vertical team, MSP program, and Partners.  

  • Engagement: Leverage your understanding of the personas we’re targeting and the business problems our products solve to create curiosity/generate interest with prospective GoTo customers.   Mainly through outbound call programs as well as via online chat, and email.   

  • Execution: Meet or exceed KPIs while focusing on qualityCollect, analyze, report data around performance, campaign, and operational execution to drive conversions and qualified leads.    

  • Growth: Share, learn, collaborate with team members and managers to develop strategies, improve execution, and ideas that drive business results and career progression.       

  

What We’re Looking For   

As a Business Development Representative, your background will look like:   

  • Must have 1 year experience in Sales, preferably SaaS with a track record of delivering against sales / opportunity targets.   

  • Must feel comfortable with cold outreach, thorough prospect cadences, and multithreading.   

  • Coachable, naturally curious, and intrinsically motivated. Highly organized, excel at multitasking, and demonstrate excellent time management skills. Strong communication abilities are essential, including a positive and energetic phone presence, active listening, as well as strong writing and presentation skills. 

  • High degree of business acumen and technical aptitudeSales methodology training and proficiency in CRM & outreach tools a plus.
