The role we are offering you:
Your role will be to create or enhance scripts, applications, and databases to optimize the work environment. Your duties will include but not be limited to adding functionalities to applications already developed by the department; developing new applications for the department based on specifications; bringing department applications up to a suitable marketing level; fixing bugs and optimizing department applications; ensuring the smooth functioning and performance of web servers; and modelling or updating databases. We are looking for someone who enjoys working independently with minimal supervision but who can also jump into action to solve a problem that could prevent the process from running smoothly.

Our ideal candidate has:
Student in computer science, computer engineering or software engineering
Experience and working knowledge of HTML/ CSS, C# (.NET Core 2.2+, ASP.NET 2.0 +), JQuery, JavaScript, SQL, Microsoft MVC architecture, Bootstrap
Passion for development and a demonstrated interest for continual learning
Result-oriented, strong planning and organizational skill
Ability to adapt quickly to changes in technology and to operate in an R&D environment
Knowledge of Microsoft Visual Studio, Windows Server up to 2016 with IIS is an asset;
Knowledge of Object-Oriented Design (OOD), Unit Testing and Test-Driven Development and Microsoft Webservices (REST, WCF & ASMX)
Ability to modify code written by other programmers and update databases;
Bilingualism in both French and English is required
Preferred Education
Pursuing a Bachelor's degree, preferably in engineering or computer science
Location of the internship is Montréal.
Internship will be carried out in hybrid mode.
*All applicants must be legally entitled to work in Canada and must meet the requirements of the Canadian Controlled Goods Program (CGP). All hires will be required to complete, sign and return the Controlled Goods Program form within a week of its transmittal. They must also provide a copy of their passport or birth certificate. All students with a work permit must provide a copy of it and a police clearance certificate from the country or countries where they have resided in the past five years.
*Please take note that if you are on a student, work or international student permit, the delays for the security background check take minimum 16 weeks.
