About This Role

                                                                                                         

Crew Manager Team is waiting for a Senior Java Software Quality Engineer to help us build the best data hub in the industry. Crew Area is  a place where you will find an extremely collaborative team and face the challenges arising from the nature of the product.

Main responsibilities:

  • Manual testing of complex multi-component system
  • Creates test documents
  • Monitors test execution, collects metrics, identifies coverage gaps and applies needed corrections
  • Analyses, improves, and tracks product testing problems
  • Consults with development engineers and business analysts to resolve problems
  • Participates in knowledge sharing
  • Designs, creates, executes, and maintains automated tests

Necessary skills & requirements:

  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Good English communication skills, written and verbal
  • Solid knowledge of OOP
  • Experience in functional and non-functional testing
  • JIRA or another bug tracking tool
  • Test process and testing techniques
  • Software Development Lifecycle (SCRUM/Kanban methodology)
  • 2+ years of experience in JAVA programming (Java 11)

The following will be considered as a plus:

  • Experience with Docker
  • Experience with AWS
  • Experience of BDD
  • Knowledge of SQL
  • Experience with web technologies: REST, SOAP, XML, JSON
  • Experience with databases: Mongo, Oracle
  • User knowledge of Maven and Git
  • Working in global and distributed teams
  • Experience in Fitnesse framework
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science and Engineering or equivalent

Location:

  • Kraków, Tischnera Office.
  • We operate a hybrid working approach (at least 2-3 days a week from office)
