Our company established an organization responsible for project management in 2022 due to the expansion of game development projects. This new organization will take over PM tasks such as personnel, schedule, and budget management, which were previously handled by game development staff (planners, programmers, graphic designers). It will also be responsible for identifying and solving issues in each project to achieve more efficient project operations.
Job Description
Project management duties for the development of the 'Pokémon' series.
- Various tasks related to project progress, such as schedule management and personnel adjustments.
- Operation of project management tools.
- Budget management.
- Construction of development environments (securing hardware, setting software permissions, etc.).
- In the future, there is a possibility of being entrusted with tasks related to negotiation and adjustment with external companies and budget formulation.
Required Qualifications
Experience
- University graduate or higher.
- Experience in some kind of problem-solving work.
- Japanese language proficiency at a level that allows smooth business communication (equivalent to JLPT N1).
Skills
- Communication skills to interact smoothly with various departments.
- Basic operation of various Office software such as Excel, Word, Power Point.
Welcome Qualifications
- Experience in production progress or project management in the game/video industry.
- Practical experience in game development (as a planner, programmer, or graphic designer).
