Job Summary
As an EHS and Sustainability Consultant at AECOM, you will be responsible for conducting EHS due diligence, including Phase I ESAs and EDD. You will support renewable energy projects with Equator Principles services like ESDD, ESMP, and various audits. The role also involves performing climate and nature-related assessments (TCFD, TNFD), managing EHS permitting, researching regulations, and conducting EHS management system, compliance, and supply chain audits to improve corporate sustainability practices.
Must Have
- Conduct EHS due diligence services (Phase I ESA, EDD)

Job Description
As an EHS and Sustainability Consultant, you will:
- Conduct EHS due diligence services, including Phase I Environmental Site Assessments (ESA) and Environmental Due Diligence (EDD).
- Support renewable energy industry projects by providing Equator Principles (EP) services such as Environmental and Social Due Diligence (ESDD), Environmental and Social Management Plans (ESMP), annual monitoring audits, and human rights audits.
- Perform climate risk and nature-related assessments, including Task Force on Climate-related Financial Disclosures (TCFD) and Taskforce on Nature-related Financial Disclosures (TNFD) evaluations.
- Manage EHS permitting processes to ensure regulatory compliance.
- Research and study environmental, health, and safety (EHS) regulations and industry standards.
- Conduct EHS management system audits to assess and improve corporate sustainability practices.
- Evaluate EHS compliance through audits to ensure adherence to local and international standards.
- Assess EHS and labor human resources (LHR) practices for supply chains and suppliers through detailed audits.
Qualifications
- A bachelor’s degree or higher in sustainability, environmental engineering, science, or a relevant area is highly preferred.
- 1-2 years of experience in EHS or sustainability-related fields is a plus; Fresh graduates are also welcome.
- Fluent in both written and spoken English and Chinese.
- Willingness to travel and conduct on-site work.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, challenging environment.
- Self-motivated with a strong sense of personal responsibility.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Solid understanding of EHS and sustainability concepts.
